Freight Right for AI assistants¶
Connect your Freight Right account to Claude, ChatGPT or any other assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol, and ask about your freight in plain language:
Where is my container from Shanghai? · What arrives this week? · Price two 40HC from Ningbo to Long Beach · Ask Freight Right to quote a truckload to Monterrey · Book the cheapest of those offers.
There is no API key to paste. You sign in to Freight Right in your browser, approve what the assistant may do, and that is it. You can disconnect it at any time from your Freight Right profile.

What it will and will not do¶
- It reads the shipments, quotes and prices of your own account — the same things you see in Shipment Manager.
- It can ask our pricing team for a quote, if you allowed that.
- It cannot book anything. An assistant can only prepare a booking and hand you a link; the booking is sent when you click it yourself, signed in to Freight Right. See What a write guarantees.
- It never sees your password, and Freight Right never sees your conversation.
