ChatGPT¶

Custom MCP connectors live behind developer mode. Turn it on once, and the Freight Right connector is available in any chat from the + menu.

Turn on developer mode Settings → Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode.
Create a connector Choose Create, paste the connector URL and set authentication to OAuth:

Connect and sign in Save, then Connect. Your browser opens Freight Right: sign in with your Shipment Manager login and approve the list you are shown.
Use it in a chat Enable the Freight Right connector from the + menu, then ask your question.

Permissions¶

ChatGPT asks you before a tool that writes runs, depending on your settings. As everywhere:

A booking can never be sent by ChatGPT. It prepares one and gives you a link; you confirm it on Freight Right's own page, signed in. Why that is true.
A quote request is a real message to our pricing team. Whether you are asked first depends on your ChatGPT settings — the tool says so in its own description.

Sign in with a development Shipment Manager account. This is the URL used throughout these pages, because it is the one that works today.

Production Not live yet

Reserved for the production connector. It does not answer yet — pasting it into an assistant today will fail.
